Welcome to the 'Rachel's Shoe' Blog!

The novel 'Rachel's Shoe' spans over 30 years starting when a young girl escapes from a German labour camp on the occupied Channel Island of Alderney near France. This Blog is here to answer your questions and of course provide a place where you can exchange comments or enter into a dialogue with others intrigued by Rachel's story. Although a work of fiction, there are a number of true events woven into Rachel's story. If you would like to ask the author about these or any other aspect of the story, please ask away!

A sequel to Rachel's Shoe is currently underway and I will be pleased to share some (perhaps not all!) information about this on this blog as the book progresses.
