Welcome to the 'Rachel's Shoe' Blog!

The novel 'Rachel's Shoe' spans over 30 years starting when a young girl escapes from a German labour camp on the occupied Channel Island of Alderney near France. Her thrilling escape and the story that follows are described in detail on my website www.RachelsShoe.com , links to my own 'author' website as well as where you can purchase Rachel's Shoe are also on the site.

This Blog is here to answer your questions and of course provide a place where you can exchange comments or enter into a dialogue with others intrigued by Rachel's story. Although a work of fiction, there are a number of true events woven into Rachel's story. If you would like to ask the author about these or any other aspect of the story, please ask away!

A sequel to Rachel's Shoe is currently underway and I will be pleased to share some (perhaps not all!) information about this on this blog as the book progresses.
